How 100 Constituents Woke Up as Millionaires Courtesy of Uduak Odudoh’s Empowerment Bank Alerts

Over one hundred constituents of Ikot Abasi, Mkpat Enin, Eastern Obolo Federal Constituency in Akwa Ibom State woke up as millionaires Wednesday and Thursday courtesy of their Federal Lawmaker, Rt. Hon. Uduak Odudoh’s empowerment alerts.

The gesture which is a follow-up of the constituency briefing and empowerment programme hosted by the lawmaker last week has elicited jubilations across the area.

The attention of our reporters were drawn to the gesture when the Hon. Odudoh began to trend on social media on Wednesday afternoon, as many constituency took to their handles to publicly appreciate the MP having received the alerts early morning.

Numerous beneficiaries interviewed by our reporters testified to waking up in the morning to see alerts of one million naira in their bank accounts just few days after their names were shortlisted for the empowerment programme.

100 constituents got a one million naira each, 64 people got 500, 000 Naira each while one hundred students have been given educational support of 100, 000 naira by the lawmaker in an exercise already described as the biggest empowerment programme ever done by any lawmaker or legislator in the area.

Just few days ago, the member representing Ikot Abasi/Mkpat Enin/Eastern Obolo Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Uduak Odudoh, had announced an empowerment package to the tune of ₦505.74 million to his constituents as business grants, scholarship, and various equipment support.

‎In his address, Hon Odudoh urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the resources given and reinforced his long-term commitment to empowerment to complement the efforts of the state governor through the ARISE Agenda.

“I will continue to empower my people in line with Governor Umo Eno’s ARISE Agenda. I am here today to give my scorecard having served in the House of Representatives for two years,“ he said, disclosing that within his first two years, he sponsored 8 Bills, moved 9 Motions, and made 4 petitions in the interest of the Constituency.

Speaking on his representation, the federal lawmaker disclosed that there is no political clan in the Federal Constituency that has not benefitted from the various life-touching projects that he has facilitated within the last two years, adding that he has been deliberate in ensuring that every part of the Constituency is carried along.

“100 persons will be given 1 million naira each, 64 people will get 500 thousand naira each, 100 students will go back with 100 thousand naira each making a total of cash support 142 million naira,“ the federal lawmaker announced.

“I want to assure you that the next two years will be better than this. I will continue to do my best for the benefit of my people.” He pledged.
