Governor Eno gave the directive on Friday during his maiden familiarisation visit to the APC state secretariat in Uyo, the state capital. According to him, the exercise is crucial to determine the actual and active members of the party in Akwa Ibom.

He revealed that registers will be sent to all wards across the state through the ward chairmen. The revalidation will commence on August 4, 2025, and will last for one month, giving room for old and new members to properly register.

“The exercise is open to everyone, regardless of status. It is necessary for us to know who our real members are,” he said.

The governor added that the revalidation would be followed by a digital capturing process overseen by the national secretariat of the party, aligning with efforts to maintain a structured and verified party database.

Governor Eno also hinted at an upcoming Federal Government empowerment initiative, which will be implemented on a one person per ward basis, urging members to ensure their participation through registration.

Commending President Bola Tinubu, the governor stated that he remains committed to supporting the current administration, noting the president’s efforts at national stabilization.

“There is something I saw and decided to stand with this President. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu means well for this country,” he said.

He praised Tinubu’s resilience in steering the country through difficult times, affirming that things are now taking a better shape two years into the administration.
