Speaking during an Instagram Live session with media personality Daddy Freeze, the team alleged that 2Baba’s new wife, Natasha, has become a major stumbling block to several international projects previously lined up for the award-winning superstar.

One team member stressed the urgent need for 2Baba to expand further into global markets, noting that many Nigerian artists are relocating abroad to maximize their earnings and tap into wider audiences.

“You go out there to make your money  even if it’s 100,000 people listening, the money is enough to sustain you,” he said. “2Baba needs to recognise that this woman is bad for business. We respect his personal decisions, but professionally, the impact has been severe.”

When Daddy Freeze probed further about the involvement of Natasha’s family, the management team declined to go into details.
“We don’t want to talk about family,” one of them said. “This thing is deeper than what we’re seeing online.”

Another team member went even further, revealing personal encounters that left him shaken:
“I’ve entered their bedroom and seen things I’m not meant to see. Daddy Freeze, I need therapy for what I’ve witnessed.”

According to the management, the long-term plan was to reposition 2Baba as a global African music icon, on par with legends such as Angélique Kidjo aiming for international tours, arena shows, and cross-continental engagements.

“When I started working with 2Baba, my aim was for him to be larger,” a member said. “You can’t compare yourself to Burna Boy, but you can achieve what Angélique Kidjo has done. You can still do arenas.”

They revealed that major international arrangements had already been sealed, including: A full UK tour, An African continent-wide tour, Multiple stadium shows, Government-supported bookings in at least five countries.

However, these plans reportedly collapsed internally.

“Natasha came and said no,” a team member claimed. “We’re stamping everything down. We can’t move.”

As the public continues to follow 2Baba’s marital drama, the management’s revelations have sparked fresh debate about how personal relationships can influence the career of an entertainment legend whose legacy continues to shape African music.
