In a significant development for the media landscape in Akwa Ibom State, outgoing Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Amos Etuk, has been appointed as the Special Senior Assistant (SSA) on Local Media to Governor Umo Eno.
The announcement was made today during the commissioning of the NUJ auditorium at the NUJ Press Centre in Uyo.
