Renowned Nigerian singer 2Baba, also known as 2Face Idibia, has officially entered the realm of politics with his recent appointment as Technical Adviser to the Governor of Benue State on Entertainment and Community Outreach.
The announcement was made on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, during a visit the music icon paid to Governor Hyacinth Alia’s office. Governor Alia was elected Governor on the platform of All Progressive Congress, APC, during the last 2023 general elections.
Governor Alia expressed gratitude for 2Baba’s support of his administration and acknowledged the artist’s significant influence in the entertainment industry. “Thank you for your unique support and for propelling my vision for 2027.
