Nigerian street music star, Portable, has responded angrily to TikTok content creator, Peller, after the latter claimed during a live video that he once helped the singer gain one million streams on Spotify. The drama unfolded online on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, and has since stirred reactions on social media.
Earlier, Peller had stated that he supported Portable when he was still struggling in the music industry. He said his effort helped the singer reach a major milestone of one million streams on Spotify. However, according to Peller, Portable later blocked him after rising to fame.

In response, Portable released a video where he strongly denied Peller’s claims. He accused the TikTok star of chasing clout and lying about their relationship. The singer expressed anger that someone he barely knows would make such a statement just to get attention online.
Portable didn’t stop there. He dragged Peller’s girlfriend, Jarvis, into the fight, claiming she had another man and that Peller was being fooled in his relationship. The artist used harsh words to mock Peller, saying he was “nothing without Jarvis.”
Nigerians online quickly reacted to the exchange. While some people laughed at Portable’s style of response, others felt both men were only stirring up unnecessary drama. A few questioned their relevance and what kind of influence they had on society.
