Another Aide by name Salami Etudaiye wrote “

Distinguished Senator Natasha H Akpoti Uduaghan,
My Leader, My Sister, My Pride,

Today, as I stand before this beautiful new house, a gift from your heart to mine, I find myself short of words, yet overflowing with gratitude and reflection.

This is not just a house.
It is a powerful statement.
It is proof that leadership can still be personal, that empathy can still build walls and roofs, that one woman’s resolve can lift an entire family into a new chapter of dignity and hope.

Salami’s house

You have done more than give me shelter; you have reminded me, and everyone watching, what true representation looks like. You have shown that politics need not be distant or transactional, it can be love made tangible. In a time when many have grown weary of promises, you have chosen to act quietly, generously, and without seeking applause. Yet the applause will come because goodness like this echoes far beyond these walls.

This gift humbles me.

It challenges me to pay forward the kindness I have received.
It reminds me that the struggles we face are never faced alone when we have leaders who see us, hear us, and choose to stand with us even when the cameras are off.

You have not just built me a house, Distinguished Senator.
You have rebuilt faith in leadership, in womanhood, in the possibility that one person’s compassion can still change lives.

I pray that the Almighty God who sees every silent act of goodness will reward you abundantly. May He build for you mansions in paradise that make this gift look like a simple gesture. May your children and children’s children inherit the blessings that flow from a heart that gives without remembering and loves without condition.

Thank you, my Senator.
Thank you, my leader.
From the bottom of my heart, and on behalf of my family, thank you for showing us that angels still walk among us in human form.
With deepest respect, profound gratitude, and renewed hope”. Salami wrote.

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s husband, Chief Akpoti Uduaghan, and other political associates and constituents joined her in celebrating this milestone birthday. Earlier, Senate President Godswill Akpabio had listed Senator Natasha as one of the senators marking their birthdays on December 9, 2025.

This isn’t the first time Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan has demonstrated her commitment to giving back. She recently facilitated landmark projects for her alma mater, Federal Government College Idoani, including a 2,000-seat auditorium, a 500-seat multipurpose hall, and solar-powered infrastructure.

As she enters this new chapter, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan expressed gratitude for divine guidance and strength: “Dear God, as I turn 46 today, I thank You for grace, strength, and growth. Bless my journey ahead with wisdom, courage, and compassion”.

Happy birthday, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan!
