Thrills and Impacts of National Youth Conference 2025 of Solid Rock Kingdom Church

Posted on April 19, 2025

The atmosphere was inspiring at the 2025 edition of the National Youth Conference of Solid Rock Kingdom Church, held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Capitol Temple in Ibekwe Akpanya, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

With the inspiring theme “Enlargement Opportunities from our Lord Jesus Christ,” the event was a vibrant blend of worship, learning, and empowerment, leaving attendees buzzing with excitement.

From the moment the first notes of praise filled the air, it was clear that this conference was destined to be memorable. A dazzling array of esteemed guests and influential figures graced the occasion, creating a youthful, glamorous atmosphere that was perfect for inspiring young minds to engage, learn, and prepare for future exploits.

Under the leadership of the National Youth Director, Mr. Victor Edikpo, the organizing team crafted a rich agenda designed to leave a lasting impact on all participants. This year’s conference showcased a remarkable twist: all activities were led entirely by the youth themselves. From Bible lessons handled by the National Assistant Director of YAMI, Brother Nsidibe Orok, to powerful sermons, the young delegates took center stage, demonstrating their talents and passion.

The audience was treated to two electrifying gospel messages from dynamic young preachers. Pastor Jackson Jackson delivered a captivating sermon on the theme of “Enlargement,” while Pastor Micheal Emmanuel inspired with a message on “Opportunities.” These powerful teachings resonated deeply with the attendees, fueling their desire to embrace the possibilities that lie ahead.

One standout presentation was delivered by the reigning Beauty Queen and King of YAMI, who tackled the sensitive topic of “Indecent Dressing and Its Implications.” With clarity and conviction, they highlighted the importance of dressing appropriately, reminding everyone that how we present ourselves shapes how we are perceived. Their candid discussion served as a timely reminder of the standards we must uphold within the church community.

Adding to the excitement were the Awards of Meritorious Service, recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to the church. Pastor Aniekan Akan was honored for his dedication to maintaining cleanliness at the church’s annual conventions, while Brother Fullness Bassey was recognized for his commitment to reminding fellow members about daily prayer schedules through his social media outreach. Humanitarian awards were also presented to Lady Helen Obareke, Coordinator of the Office of the First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, and Rt. Okpolukpum Etteh. The highlight of the awards was the Lifetime Achievement Award bestowed upon Apostle (Dr.) John Okoriko, the church’s Founder and President, for his unwavering commitment to the gospel.

One of the personalities that headlined the meeting, Hon. Emmanuel Inyang, who is the Executive Chairman of Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, wowed the crowd when he announced a pledge to offer 8 empowerment slots for the youth of the church to be trained and given start-up grants in areas of agricultural entrepreneurship and multimedia technology.

The conference featured a panel discussion on addiction, which many attendees hailed as one of the most powerful sessions. This enlightening discussion, hosted by the charming Lady Lily Edikpo, included a diverse group of experts, such as medical practitioner Mrs. Jubilee Unyime, Pastor Paul, Barr. Emmanuel Udo, and media practitioner Comrade Aniedi Ukoenang. They delved into various forms of addiction, from substance abuse to social media dependency, providing valuable insights and support for those affected.

As the event drew to a close, the Rock Singers and the Campus Fellowship body delivered electrifying musical performances, ensuring the energy remained high. The conference concluded with prophetic declarations and blessings from Apostle (Dr.) John Okoriko, a cherished tradition that has become a hallmark of the Annual National Youth Conference.

In a heartfelt message of gratitude, Mr. Victor Edikpo, the National Director of YAMI, expressed appreciation for all attendees and church leadership for their contributions to the event’s success. He confidently predicted that those who participated would soon witness the manifestation of the “enlargement and opportunities” promised by the Lord.

The National Youth Conference 2025 was not just an event; it was a transformative experience, igniting a renewed sense of purpose and empowerment among the youth of Solid Rock Kingdom Church. As they left the conference, attendees carried with them the hope and inspiration to embrace the opportunities that lie ahead.
